Parking suggestions for Elon?
Okay, kids, this is my first football game since 1992-ish, when I walked from my dorm to the stadium. I'll be driving up from Roanoke on Saturday. Suggestions on where to park? We don't need to tailgate. Probably will just grab a soda and take our seats.

Thanks

Warsaw parking deck, then enjoy the walk across the quad.

The bus stops at most area hotels and drops off at the stadium and makes the return trip after the game. Its free and no worries. That is what we do for each game we attend.

BTW, my daughter is a Senior and this will be her last "regular" season game at BFS 03-weeping

Do you know what time those shuttles start running? Staying at the Courtyard and really don't want to drive over.

Normally I'd suggest something different, but you are exactly right, when someone doesn't get back to campus all that often, nothing better than a stroll from that deck.

They start 3 hours before the game.

Not trying to come off disrespectful, but curiosity is getting the best of me. How does someone from Roanoke not make it to a JMU football game in over two decades?

This is our go to place when we are arriving close to game time. You avoid a lot of the game day traffic and it's a great walk to the stadium. There's also a shuttle which drops off right next to BFS.

Thanks. I think I'll try for Warsaw.

How does someone from Roanoke not get back for a game?

Not living in Roanoke until 12 years after graduation. And kids. I'll show my son campus and my old dorm on the way across the Quad. 03-old

Great seats, great atmosphere, and a royal butt-whoopin'.

JMU has changed a lot in 20 years.

I can envision us finally moving up to big-boy football, finishing the bowl at Bridgeforth and having 50,000 there on a Saturday. 04-cheers
