In watching the Lady Trojans the other day
I noticed that two of the young women who played a lot last year are not playing. They were both Freshmen last year, and they're still on the team but didn't play. Di'mond Jackson and Charde Collins. I hope I got their names correct. Are they redshirting this season? They both showed promise last year, but with Alexis Dawn here now and Cobbins back, it's possible Joe decided to redshirt them since they wouldn't get a lot of playing time anyway.04-cheers

I also noticed those 2 players did not play. You suggest they may be redshirted because they wouldn't play much this year. Would it be any better for them next year? Judging by what has been said it appears Foley has signed some talented players for next season, believe he has signed 5.

I saw promise in both of those two. I don't know how they were rated, but they will be in their third season next year, and the new girls will be Freshmen who will take time to learn Foley's system. Foley likes upper classment when he can keep the good ones, since he has said that it takes until their Junior season to become really good players in his system. Jackson reminded me of Asrael Rolfe, but maybe a little bigger and stronger. I think they'll contribute starting next season if they're still around.

You got me! In my day (the middle twentieth century) folks named their kids things like Debbie, Shirley, Elizabeth, Sara, Rachel, Leah, and Rebecca. It's those more modern names that confuse me. Sorry about the misspelling. I did allude to that possibility and I apologize to those young ladies. My intention was to praise their abilities, and I think most knew to whom I was referring. The message board needs to have Spell Check for people like me. Now you know why I was never a Spelling Bee contestant!

Even easier in my day- Jane, Sue, Sally, Ann, Lucy, Jill, etc. Today, with many of the defendants I evaluate, if they can spell their name I figure their competent to go to trial.

Now I believe you've finally made the quotable list! That's really funny.
