Though I'd post this after our predictable "fire/replace Bailiff" angst had simmered down..a bit.

We actually have a game tomorrow, Friday night, November 21. And It's a pretty important one. A win will certainly enhance our bowl future. And it's the last game at HRS for our graduating Seniors.

The feeling seems to be that a Friday night game before the students exit for the Holiday might boost attendance. I hope so.

I'll be coming in +1 on Friday for the game to see our team and our Seniors take this game from the Miners 31-21.

If the rain and thunder hold off I should be there, but I'm a wimp.

UTEP absolutely DESTROYED the same North Texas run defense that held our run game somewhat in check. (and no Covington)

In any case, I think that UTEP has finally found a good coach, and they probably will have zoomed past us by this time next year.

It seems that the Miners are starting to believe in themselves. I'm going with UTEP, 31-27.

I was very surprised when the line opened up at 10 (all the way down to 7 now). I think Rice by 4 would have been a more appropriate line. Nevertheless I'm picking Rice to score 28 and win by 11.
