I'd be incensed by your prediction if the difference between yours and mine were not UTEP making a TD instead of FG, and Rice missing a FG.

That said, I don't object to going by the numbers, but with the kind of schedule that Rice has played that is so top and (especially) bottom heavy, I think they're meaningless when compared to a team that is very comparable in quality to Rice - i.e. just south of average for FBS.

I think we can handle a team of toughs from the juvenile probation office. I doubt they can overcome all the personal foul penalties. Rice 41, Minors 21.

I hesitate to make a prediction on this one cause it is really too hard to call. I'll go with my heart and say the Owls (though they really have not performed well at home and are coming off two consecutive lackluster performances), but in a nailbiter...and I have serious doubt about our game management in close contests...

Rain is not good for us.

Guess everyone ran home at noon due to the rain. Left early from Tiki and wound up making it to HRS in under an hour. A couple minutes ago I needed to use my other hand to count the crowd. Weather is clearing but pretty windy in the Bowes on the west side. Bring a jacket and towels to dry your seat.
