i think a lot of schools do that.... i thought we did that with mickey as well, but i'm not positive. but it's not out of the ordinary. if you have the funds to make it happen, it's a great idea.

Yea MM did it his first two years , then told us if he couldnt trust us on friday night home games we didnt deserve to be on the team. Also think money/ budget was an issue then. Today it seem like JMU is dishing out all kinds of funds.

I don't believe the hotel was used for the first 2 home games. I know they were in the hotel on 10/31 for obvious reasons. Being in a hotel is one of Wither's priorities as it allows for the same routine every weekend, home or away. As for Twitter, that issue was handled early and there have been no issues like we saw in the past. They treat these games as business events and they realize that Twitter is a distraction. One focus right now: Beating Elon.

This is pretty much where I am. Early kick off, probably a late arriving crowd, let down after big road W, distractions, distractions, distractions. Slow start, but no worse for wear. Lee gets them in gear after a sluggish start with the O-line especially. They wake up when they realize this ish is real!
