We really had a good turnout at our pre-game social last night at the Jack. Good Free Food & Fellowship with a great group. Enjoyed Coach Dallimore coming and giving us a live scouting report before the game. We had our own space in the Jack. Brought back some good memories.

As it turned out we made up a significant part of the total attendance.

It's quite painful to see the "real" attendance numbers. Probably a good idea for the new AD to start with us reporting accurate numbers. If he improves attendance we will see it in the numbers. At least it will be nice to know that if the paper lists an attendance figure it won't have to be preceded by "announced" attendance. Not sure we have ever listed 100% accurate numbers, but Rick Mello was the closest to listing actual attendance.

What was the attendance last night for the women's game? I never even looked at that in the paper. Didn't look like many there on the video on the news last night.

If Chris was still here, no doubt it would have been listed as about 2000. Like I said, it going to be painful seeing accurate attendance figures in the paper. Worst attendance I can recall was during Newell's second season when we played in Pine Bluff. Jerry Reed (Democrat sports writer at the time) and I counted 104 people. Not sure if we counted media, score keepers, players, or folks that had gone to the bathroom.

Was 946 reported for the doubleheader Volleyball, Men's Basketball game with Monticello on the prior Sunday.
