Why are they postponing it if Kent is already there?

I distinctly remember thinking "Late Nov games in Buff? That's kinda stupid". Of course no schedule is perfect, but I'd think Buff home games in early season, Miami, OIHO and BSU in the later, would be a good habit.

But once again, I'm going to suggest that the MAC should seriously look into splitting. These conferences would be more flexible for scheduling, and more open to marketing:

ECC
UMass, Buff, Temple, Akron, Ohio U, Cincy, Marshall, ECU, ODU, UNCC, and football only (Army + Navy) or (UCF + USF)

and

new MAC
Ball St, BG, CMU, Miami, WMU, NIU, Kent, MTSU, WKU. If expansion makes sense look at Missouri St, IL St, SIU, IN state as candidates.

Very true. If one person gets into a bad accident going to/from this game...the U at B will get shredded publicly. There are still thousands of people south of the snow line buried in their homes,,,many with no power, driving bans all over the place.. It's just a very sensitive topic..having to pull off a game at UB with all this going on in WNY, plus a 2nd round of snow hitting the area tonight into tomorrow.

With the area expecting worse weather tomorrow and KSU playing next Tuesday, I see no way this game could be played until after Thanksgiving weekend

Saw a suggestion from the Media heads that it be delayed until the Saturday after the MACC but only if Buffalo wins next week.

I think Orchard Park got four (4!) feet of snow.

I saw a snow chart for the Buffalo area.

Should have cancelled yesterday before KSU drove nine hours to get there, published in the PD today that their normal three hour trip took nine. Why put the team and others through that crap when all of this could have been settled yesterday?

Yes, precisely. "We didn't expect to ever have such heavy snows in Buffalo in late November to have to plan for the contingency" doesn't fly as an excuse. Nor does, "the people responsible to make the call were snowed in and out of contact" ... if they were, all the more reason to call it the previous day.

With the Wagon Wheel being played at the absurd date of Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and neither school in CCG contention, they should schedule it sometime between the weekend after Thanksgiving and the CCG game.
