UAB 36 ---ECU 17 at Legion Field

I remember it fondly. Good times.

I barely knew who ECU was at the time and certainly didn't consider them a big deal (despite the ranking). Perhaps the players felt the same... 03-lol

It was the same thing for me when we first hosted Houston (beat them too)

I have more respect for Marshall in this circumstance, but still don't think there is any reason we can't make a game of it!

I want Saturday to replace our home victory over ranked TCU as my most cherished Blazer memory. For that to happen it would have to be pretty doggone special and requires a lot of both fans and players (WE DID THE WAVE AT THAT GAME!)

I can't get enough of that highlight either. The UA BOT can't take our memories away.

During that period, David Garrard did well enough to get to play QB several years in the NFL, BUT he NEVER beat UAB - at home or away. UAB was their nemesis for several years.
