Youngstown State game
Our next opponent, another Horizon team, has already played two MAC teams and lost by 8 and 12. These MAC teams were Kent State and CMU, two of the lesser teams in the conference.
So far this year, the Penguins have shot pretty abysmally, and only three players on the team have hit a 3-pointer at some point in those three games, and none of them have been very efficient with it. They also haven't rebounded very well either. If we play like we did against Oakland, we should be just fine. Hoping to see a tighter defensive performance. Also curious how our guys will manage three games in three days. Luckily we have 10 bodies that can play significant minutes, so that will help.
With a win on Friday, Murphy will have won 5 straight games against Horizon League opponents.
EDIT: For the recruitniks, Youngstown State has Jalon Plummer from Romulus in their rotation.

RE: Youngstown State game
We are 1-0 this week and I truly believe that going anything under 4-1 would be underachieving. I think our hardest game will be on Sunday but you never know. Let's take this one game at a time and see what happens
P.S.
Anyone know where we can watch the WMU - Oakland game ?

I think you can watch it on the Oakland or Horizon website. I remember watching the game last year when we played there. Quality sucks, but it's free. Or at least it WAS free.

It appears it will be ESPN3.
That would be HD for someone who streams the game using Chromecast, Hoku 3, etc.
I have my house set up with Hoku 3 to a 32" HD television set.
I used to watch games on ESPN's GamePlan (FB) and Full Court (guess that's basketball. ;-) ) on my television but those were in standard definition.
EDIT: Here is the current ESPN3 schedule. Lot of MAC games tonight.
http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index#sport.../upcoming/
ESPN3 has WMU and Ohio hoops and ESPN2/ESPN3 has two MAC FB games. Guess ESPN owns the MAC audience tonight. :)

I am thinking about purchasing Apple TV. Was wondering though if I can stream my video from an apple computer straight to my TV or does Apple TV have ESPN 3 support in it already.

Can't watch it at the rec because there will be between 3000-5000 people there for an AAU swim meet. Yes I already told marketing and they put out a lot of posters but with basketball games going they don't have the personal to send over to run a table.

I had a thread on the main MAC board say 3 or 4 weeks ago about Chromecast, Roku 3, etc.
Don't remember if Apple TV was brought up (think it was).
You might find that thread and ask your question there.

RE: Youngstown State game
I think the big issue with ESPN3 is having access through your television provider, and not an issue with Chromecast, Roku 3, or Apple TV.
I have DirecTV and do NOT have access to ESPN3 through them. DirecTV and ESPN never could agree.
I have Cox for my Internet provider and they support ESPN3 as part of their high speed package.
Bottom line: If you can get ESPN3 on a MAC, you should be able to stream it via Apple TV or other means to a television set.

Great write-up from Eagle Totem:
http://eagletotem.net/blog/2014/11/19/em...port/8773/
The bottom rant was something I didn't know either...that this is the first year they were able to get a strength and conditioning coach for Murphy. Definitely worth the read. It was indeed cool to see how many people, local and national, tweeted about Karrington's dunk. Well deserved.

Does he mean we didn't have a person who was just a trainer for the men's team ? Because I know for the fact that in the past there was for example a 5 person staff and every person handled a few teams with the main coach leading the football team. Is that what is implied here that now we have a person JUST for the men's basketball team ?

I think it's a guy just for the basketball team, yes. At least that's how Murphy made it sound.

I can play it through my android tablet.
What is that have to do with anything ? I asked if Apple TV has a capability to stream video and sound through my MacBook or if it has support for ESPN 3 not what kind of tablet you have. I know you can watch ESPN on mostly all tablets. Including Apple and Android.
Yes, it does. AppleTV has the WATCHESPN app.
I couldn't watch it on my kindle, need adobe flash installed.
