Best in West vs best in East. Toronto is favored on their home court. Would be great to win this one we're not expected to.

Short bench is hurting some now. But think how it would be right now if not for the blow out against Houston and the starters had to play late in that game.

WOW go it in lane walking BTW and passed out to wing and the guard dribbled out to elbow and turn looked and passed it back into the lane and the other player NEVER stepped out of the lane the entire time.

RE: 12/82: Grizzlies @ Raptors (11/19)
Starters Tony Allen and Courtney Lee, and reserves Beno Udrih, Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos were suffering from the illness and remained at the team hotel. The Griz signed point guard Kalin Lucas and center Hassan Whiteside – both of whom participated in the team's training camp – and were awaiting the players’ arrival an hour before tip-off.
Griz management chartered a plane so that the five sick players could immediately return to Memphis. The hope is that the Griz will be at full strength when they host the Boston Celtics on Friday and the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
“It’s best to keep them separate,” Joerger said of arriving to Air Canada Center without the sick players. “This stuff goes through teams throughout the course of the year. It usually picks off a guy or two here or there. My wife told me ‘Don’t come home tonight.’ It’s just something we have to try to get through.”
Joerger wouldn’t reveal his starters.
The rest of the Grizzlies arrived at the arena later than normal because of heavy snowfall in the area. A typically short bus ride to the downtown arena took more than 45 minutes, according to team personnel.

On a positive note, the baby bears got some much needed playing time. Both Stokes and Adams look promising.

I hate losing to the Raptors. Their fans are obnoxious.

They act as if they individually whooped the Kaiser. Am going to love Wednesday Jan 21st.

I agree. Good for them to see the court. Even though the odds were definitely against us, Griz almost pulled it off. I'm disappointed. We were up 5, 3 minutes to go, Raps miss and run down a long rebound for a 2nd chance, of course then they hit a 3. To me, this was the whole hinge point of the game. Hopefully everybody will be well tomorrow for the Celtics. We should loan our team plane to the Clippers for them to use to get here on Sunday.

At the start of the 4th quarter we had our subs in the game and they turned it over a few times. So our lead evaporated, the crowd really got into it and we had to bring our starters back earlier than normal. I thought that was really the turning point of the game. Ross going crazy in the 4th quarter didn't help. He was hitting long shots over our guys playing good defense. It would have helped to have Allen on him about then.

we should protest the game and claim that the hotel staff in Toronto caused our players to be sick
