Tulsa up on UConn 30-24 at the half. Huskies not getting the ball to fall through the hole like they did against us.

Holy cow...UK is beating Missouri 77-33 with six minutes still in the game. That is the type of beat down UConn women put on the rest of WBB.

Tulsa's RPI prior to this game was like, 38 or that range. They are for real.

RE: College Basketball 2014-15
As of this morning it looks like UC will have 5 more opportunities against top 50 RPI teams

23 SMU (1)
29 Tulsa (1)
37 Temple (2)
42 Xavier (1)

31 Cincinnati

Top 50 games played (3-1)
4 VCU L
23 SMU W
33 NC State W
36 SDSU W

our trouble seems seem to be those in the 50-120 range (1-3) , although I wouldnt call any of those bad losses

59 Mississippi L
73 UConn L on road
104 UNCC W
123 Nebraska L 2 OT on road

Would be nice if NC State could come back and win against UNC.

Yup. That could be a seed changing win if State can stay at or near the top of the ACC.

It's hard for me to draw much from that. The Nebraska game was a bunch of missed opportunities, UConn was a road loss against a team that had finally gotten back from injury, we just came out flat after the first day of that tourney against Ole Miss. I know trends don't usually come out of a vacuum, but the context to each of those losses is very different.

DePaul wins on the road against a ranked team. The apocalypse is near. Also, GT has 22 points against UVa with 3 minutes left. That is terrifying.

NC State down 58-54 with 2 minutes left @Miami.
UCONN only beat UCF at home by 7. (Going to be tougher game down there than expected.)
Xavier loses on the road again.

Have been saying for a month , this game Sunday is not a guaranteed win and the at Houston game after the X game really worry me. Both would be bad losses on the resume.

As much as it pains me to say it Eggzavier got screwed near the end of regulation. They eliminated a 9 point deficit in about a minute and Stainbrook was going in for a shot to take the lead with about 10-15 seconds to go and was molested, but no foul was called.

Also during that game Fox Sports put up a graphic that includd showing "No American Conference teams ranked" with something about the conference struggling.

I guess you could say that about any road game, and I mostly agree about @HOU, but UCF is not going to score points against us. From a matchup standpoint, UCF doesn't worry mean in the least and I don't see why we should put up a bad performance ourselves this weekend.

Houston might be a worse team than UCF (close), but the matchup is somewhat of a problem and the timing on that one scares me as well.
