My November MAC Football Ticket Pricing Proposal
Make all mid-week games free of charge. If the MAC is going to allow ESPN to make the league its B!*$#, then the league could at least stop screwing over the fans and stop charging for admission.

Maybe admission for a can of soup, bar of soap, or something like that. No point in having an empty stadium. It's only a couple games in November. May as well. Maybe people who get in cheap in November will pay to get in the following September.

I really like this idea. A can of soup to go to the needy in exchange for 1 ticket. I wonder how many people would show up with that kind of deal to a game like say tonight.

No harm in trying but I just don't think ticket price is the issue. It's an 8pm mid-week game people can either attend or can't. Plenty of free and cheap tickets will go unused tonight I imagine. Plenty of season tickets will go unused.

Did I mention the weather? People can still look outside their windows.

3 hours will tell the tale.

Some of the sEason ticket holders may stop buying season tickets if 2 games are free - or they will want discounted season tickets. Have to imagine it has already affected sales to some extent.... Would also bet a lot of numbers are bad assumptions geared to get what the league wanted.
