I would never question his toughness and strangely he threw the ball better on a miserably cold night.

This was one of his better throwing games. Still not great by any means, but better.

Agreed. He takes a lot of big hits and gets up as if nothing happened. I get the criticism of his accuracy, but he has only 1 pick! Sure, there have been a few others that very well could/should have been intercepted, but they were not. His runs up the middle are crazy. Every time I think he is going to killed at the line of scrimmage, but somehow he picks up positive yards - sometimes in big chunks.

He still needs to know when it's time to give up and slide. Sure, fight for a first down. But, once he has a first down, pick up as much as you can and slide before the defense crushes you. He's going to get hurt and/or fumble at some point.

I like Hare, he's playing good and getting better with each game.

Next few years should bas fun as the last few!

Ohio was 5-5. They're way better than EMU.

Ohio is a good team, has talent, play hard and tough, well coached.

It's been that way ever since Solich got there. The thing is they have also lacked big time playmakers which has kept them from the upper crust. The one time they got that right was with Brazil and a young tettleyon (before he regressed) was when they were closest. Their QB play has been decent at best and that doesn't win titles in this league.

Someone please tell me why we are even bothering with Maddie at this point. Anytime he goes in there he is absolutely killing our momentum.

What momentum did he kill in the first half? We weren't doing anything on offense, couldn't run the ball, and he came in and the offense was moving until the offensive line got blown up on 2nd and 3rd and 2.

I thought bringing him in made sense to spread the defense out some and try to unclog the box. No problem with his first half series.

The 2nd half series I didn't agree with, but again it's not like the offense was lighting it up anyways.

I think this is exactly right. Ohio is a tough, physical team and always has been under Solich. The only thing separating them from us is a playmaker or two.
