RE: NIU @ Ohio Game Thread
We need. Remember that this isn't last year. There are no voters to impress, no schedules to compare. No one cares what the final score is. At the end of the day, the win loss column is the only thing that matters. Right now, NIU has to win one game to get to Detroit. This team has a calm about them in big moments, like they know they will come out on top. That sort of thing only comes with the experience of Playing in meaningful games, giving this team an edge over any other team in the MAC. Western has had a good year and next week will be a good game, but it is like that old saying goes, to be the best, you have to beat the best. And NIU is still the to of the MAC.

And to the CMU clown on the board...what's it like losing to Ball State? Seriously, are you a central fan or a western fan? Or just a jealous tool who hasn't even BEEN to the MACC since 2009. But by all means, pat yourself on the back for that win you had this year when you're sitting on the couch in December...

Was falling asleep during that 30 minutes it took to play the 1st 7 minutes of the second 1/2. The Back to back turnovers woke me up for good.

Guess the upper teens got to their students by 1/2, All that was left was the band after that on the far side.

These MAC attendances for weekdays is brutal. Add bad play and all that are watching are diehards of a school playing and degenerate gamblers all over the country.

Sent from my iPhone.

Saw that too. NBC news sucks. ABC7 has had better NIU coverage that past 2 years.

Channel 7 showed the game winning TD pass to Beebe.

Congrats Huskies on the win. Tough game, tough weather. Wish it wouldn't have been as cold as it was though as usually the student turnout is decent for the blackout game. Best of luck the rest of the season.

Oh, and keep in mind that when these boat rowers crow about beating Ohio what they don't tell you is that Oullette and Vick were out with injuries. The Kalamazoo Sailors are not as good as they think they are, you'll beat them.

Thank you! and you're preaching to the choir about A.) Cold midweek game fan turnout, and B.) the over confidence of WMU fans.

The stats of the game tell a different story about Vick

Derrius Vick 18-31 246yds TD1 INT1 7.9yds per attempt

To be fair to Vick the NIU secondary committed a lot of pass interference on long bombs or his numbers would've been a lot better. They were smart penalties to take for NIU but they screwed over Vick.

He also ran for 80 yards. And Oullette ran for 127.

I for one am shocked the guy who apologized for spreading rumors about his head coach and brags about the interest on his bank account can't be trusted!

Good question. Maybe playing Daniels because he's healthy and a senior...

No, Coaches are saving him for next year!!! And yes he is Micheal Turner 2.0, but faster! It takes him one step to get up to speed!!!

I'm a big fan of #23.

Patience. I wouldn't say coaches don't have a clue. I imagine they have a plan.

He's got 3 years left and there is nobody in his way after this year!

Either that, or Huff's 8 year-old little brother.

It has to be someone related to Huff (or Huff himself). They only post about Huff.
