we need a young coach that is a family man, has a winning record, can recruit well, gets us to the tournament, wins tournament games, doesnt cheat or get us put on probation and get games vacted. someone that is well respected in the coaching community and represents our university well. a solid human being in a sport that rewards sleazy behavior. someone that can tune out all the stupidity when the inevitable bad year rolls around. Someone that will actually come here and be happy to be here.

Of course. I don't blame him one bit for taking the money. I just think we should be allowed to have equally appropriate expectations re: his performance.

Duke should fire coach K then. He hasn't been to final 4 times since 1999. 2010 was his last final 4.

He needs to hire a defensive coach. Many top programs have a top assistant who runs the practices and focus's on either the O or D. If the head coach tries to do everything, nothing will get done well. Seems to be our issue.

He hasn't had 2 All Americans on his team since then. See the trend? Same as coach X. Not 1, but 2 All Americans and suddenly they are the greatest coach's in the world.
