The G5 actually had a better chance under the old system to get to the 2 team National Championship than we do now in the 4 team.

Boise St. almost did and when they made it to the big bowl and beat
Oklahoma The powers to be had to make sure this could never happen again.

So they took the selection out of the hands of polls and the computer
and selected a committee without not one representative from a G5 Conference to make sure a G5 team would never be selected.

They said see now there are no automatic qualifiers a team from any
conference can get the bid.

BS the system is worse than ever.



"The committee still doesn't have a team from outside the Big Five conferences in its rankings but will have to pick the best of that group in the final rankings to fill a guaranteed spot in the New Year's bowls.

Oh...Obama...why not "investigate" these non profit organizations instead of religious institutions and conservative entities with the IRS....

I think they are doing it intentionally just to keep people in the dark as to who the top G5 selection is. They want to string it out until the last minute and have the whole country waiting with baited breath to find out at the end of the season. Trying to create drama.

This is meant as a way to damage recruiting and suppress fan enthusiasm and support.
This is also meant to make the smaller schools come begging to the bigger schools for games, that the bigger schools can then decrease the payments for.

Same thing as the NCAAA basketball selection 'committee'. Drama, drama, drama,... Who did they select? Who got in????
