I said we are becoming a Football first school and we are, slowly but surely....But Coach Josh needs to start Magee or Markel at point and Burrell at the 2, Iverson at the 3, To go with Nichols and Shaq....Everyone else off the bench and know your rolls....If you gonna play them and let them make mistakes then you stick with your starting 5 and roll players off the bench....Stop changing these darn Lineups and the confusion for starters.....You roll with you best and most talented guys and most potential and that's Shaq, Austin, Iverson, Burrell, and either Magee or Markel at the point....End of story....The World Is Ours Memphis....

Josh needs to bench Shaq a couple of games until he gets the fact he can't go out there and get two quick fouls and sit on the bench as he did much of last year. If he doesn't know how to play defense now he never will. Even after coming back in the game in the second half he was mouthing to the ref which got him a warning from the ref. Shaq claims to be the leader of this team so he needs to put up or shut up and lead this team. But he can't lead from the bench.

King has to be in the starting rotation. You're blind if you don't think so.

Maybe just Maybe, we can let Josh go if he doesn't get things done, and get a coach that can Keep Keelon on staff and go after and bring in Thon Maker and or Josh Jackson....And start fresh with a new face....Maybe Josh isn't cut out for this job, Hell Iverson should be Our starting 3 and even a blind Kid can see that....Ask Uncle Wes....The World Is Ours Memphis....

Iverson should start at the point. At least he can dribble the ball up the court and pass it.

Well, count me as blind. Iverson is 6-10 and can handle the ball.
Put him in his box and let him roll.
King can score off the bench.

Where do people get the notion that Iverson can handle the ball, did you guys miss every game he played in last year? He might look good in youtube aau clips but Iverson struggled handling the ball against D1 defenses.

Why not pull a Fuente?

Let the young kids make mistakes and play through them? Much like Fuente did with Paxton.

Play Pookie at the point, Markel at the 2, along with Nick, Shaq and Austin. Shorten the bench to Iverson, Hawkins, Woodson and Burrell along with Dominic.

Let them work through their mistakes. Play a freaking zone to hide some of the crap Pastner try's to do in the man. You've got the personnel to do that effectively in terms of length.

If he was taught to play defense with spacing and footwork that would help. But he's apparently not.

Agree. Shaq has plenty of raw skill. His BB fundamentals coaching has been woefully lacking IMO, just like it has for most of our players.

…and leave them in there so they can find their groove…TOGETHER! Also, coming off the bench is much easier if the starters set the right pace.

Unfortunately it will never happen with this staff.
