It's a tricky time for Memphis basketball. Especially given that the Grizzlies have set the city on fire. I've never been someone who believes in pitting one program against another. I figure Memphians should pull for both teams. But it's simply true that there is only so much money for tickets, so many nights to haul the family down to FedExForum to watch hoops. If the start of the season goes badly for the Tigers, will it be tempting for some to focus their passion on the Griz? Yes, it will.
