What evidence do you have to suggest this is happening?
I never said it was happening. I was responding to scanguard. He said that a move to pro style would start to happen now that TT recruits were entering the lineup, and that it had been his stated intention to do so all along.
My point was that no coach should want to dismantle or "fix" what has proven to work. Would Helfrich come in to Oregon and say "let's run the Wishbone this year, I really like the wishbone"?
Let's be honest, Cincinnati's impressive run over the greater part of the last decade has been on the back of a high scoring spread attack. And that's how it's worked for most of the "outsider" programs, be it TCU, Boise, ECU, etc. If you want to watch your team of 4star lineman shoving another team's 4 star lineman, and enjoy 10-7 games, you'd better be in the SEC or Big10.
Regards the "need to keep the defense off the field" arguments, the defense hasn't exactly impressed all year in the first half of games. Their problems exist beyond the explanation of time of possession.
Personally I like hanging 50 points on teams. That's Bearcat football, at this point. Mick's guys are always going to defend, and UC ROTC guys should always have strong upper arms.
OK no worries then.
Wow, you're really struggling with reading comprehension.

Be careful with personal attacks. Got it?

Someone better tell Ohio State, Oregon, just about every Big XII school, etc. that they are not at the level they think they are since they don't run pro-style offenses.
