RE: WKU fans
Doubt their will be many, I was hoping to go since a short trip for me from Lexington, but just cannot go this season.....Our season pretty much is this Saturday, probably not too many will be hyped for Marshall game besides the usual friends/families of players around 150 or so fans...

I had planned to make the trip but wife's grandfather is not likely to make it through the Holidays so the family has planned a big family reunion of sorts for that day. My kids seeing their great grandfather for likely the last time is obviously more important than a football game.

With that said...although i'll obviously be pulling for the Toppers, I cringe at the thought that a WKU win would kill the conference's chance at an Access Bowl this year.

Sorry to hear that and you are absolutely correct.

Isnt that a strange feeling? Its like fantasy football, when you have someone on the opposing team playing your favorite nfl team... you aren't sure who to root for lol. I have demarco murray at RB and i hope he runs for 300 yds.... but its not enough that the cowboys beat the Giants.

I won't be rooting against us. But I certainly see the greater good in Marshall remaining undefeated. The conference payout for an access bowl is worth the L. I don't expect it will matter anyway. Marshall will curb stomp our defense and our offense will not put up crazy high numbers vs. Marshall's D.
