People said the same thing about us last year, when we got smoked at Oklahoma State.

That season turned out ok for us. We beat the Cowboys a week later in a Christmas tournament, swept Louisville, smacked Gonzaga and won a game in the NCAA tournament.

SMU will be fine.

This game will help SMU in the long run.

It's never easy to go into the Lion's Den. SMU had to play perfect; and even then, it may not have been enough to stem the tide of that crowd and that little crackshot guard burying those 3s.

Why is that a big deal? Student section chanting is what makes college basketball great. Keep it clever and stay away from the real classless chants, and it's awesome.

"Go back to Texas": Not really funny either, but an improvement. 2/10
"SM"Who"": Ha, that's better, and very easy to chant. 8/10
"It's all Over": Points for stinging accuracy. 7/10
"You need Mudiay": There we go. School specific, shot at the still open wound but still in the realm of class. 9/10

All in all, that's some solid student sectioning. Still a lot of room for improvement, but clearly got better as the 2nd half went along.

I am not use to hearing their chants because they are always sad when the Tigers beat them lol
