Too little info to go on, but I'm assuming Rawls will be OK to play. They were cautious about putting him in, and since CMU's backups were doing fine, they just decided to let that roll if/when they really needed him.

I see Franklin being in the same position. In a sense, he's a "week behind" Rawls. I think Franklin will get a few reps in when we need 1 yard or something, and maybe a random wtf-why-the-fvck-not run. But other than that, I expect a lot of pressure to be on Chance to carry the RB load to keep our offense balanced against he big MAC D of CMU.

Franklin barely playing/out + Rawls playing healthy: 50%
Franklin healthy, Rawls healthy: 20%
Franklin AND Rawls barely playing/out: 20%
Franklin healthy, Rawls barely playing/out: 10%

I'm going on the assumption that Franklin won't play. However, Chance has experience in this game and we have other RBs. Who is to say that one of them doesn't come in and stun everybody with a big performance?

Even if Franklin does not play, Chance has lit up CMU in the past (2012). And our passing game is as good as it's ever been.

This is going to be fun game, that's for sure!

I would never bet on a WMU game. Because when I bet a pizza for them to win I have to dish out a Hot-n-Ready. And I never bet for them to lose I just can't do it.

Yeah right...you'd be hard-pressed to get a poor college student to spend money on proper groceries, much less betting on football games.

Yeah, but it's not really a bet if it's a given, and there's knowledge that they'll win regardless. :)

- Franklin has 5 carries put in for some key plays; successful on 3 of them
- CMU #29 Rush D in nation stops/keeps Chance at 3.0 yards/carry
- Haldeman misses a FG and an XP (that "would have" tied it)
- Terrell plays well, while Terrell/Davis/Braverman keep us in the game the whole way
- Rawls plays a large part of the game; last game of regular season - averages 4.7 yards/carry
- WMU wins the turnover battle by 1, but it isn't enough to pull out the win

Attendance predictions? I'll go with 23K - a figure boosted by a solid contingent of Bronco fans.

Chips can't get that many fans there! That could be the announced attendance, but probably no were over 18k.

If the weather's decent and the roads are ok, I say it's going to be around 20k-ish. It's a big game. A young gal who I fraternized with on my friend Kinky Kurt's coach on Halloween weekend who's from Ferris is going to the CMU/WMU game -- and she lives with her parents on the east side of the state!

I'll be surprised if the crowd isn't at least in the low 20K-range. This is the one game guaranteed to draw some home students/alums who wouldn't attend most other games and also draw a decent block of visiting fans - and both teams are pretty good this year. The only exception I could see is if the game were played as a midweek MACtion game.

I fear that next year's game at Waldo will end up being a MACtion game like back in 2007. I hope I'm wrong...
