Easily weak defense and inconsistent offense, and I hate dunks it's nothing more than showing off most times even earl who could have dunked if he wanted too didn't.

Dunks are much more than showing off. They are an extreme energy play that can rally a comeback or put the nail in the coffin. They get the crowd into the game or keep the crowd buzzing. This is how it is at all levels. Saying that dunks are nothing more than showing off is just way off base and ignorant.
Dunks are showing off i have no use for them.07-coffee3

Good thing "the dunk" is not meant to serve solely you super, there are many other extremely important pieces that are connected to it in the game of basketball.

Yes never said there wasn't but dunks make less than 2% of the game but 90% of the comments.

That's because it's 2% of the action that contributes to 90% of the emotion of the game and that was my point. Their importance cannot be overlooked or undervalued. Comments on here and everywhere are based off emotion, that's human nature.

If they all could dunk, they would too.

I'm waiting for BobW to respond.

I think he had some tough things to say about women's basketball. Think he used the word 'unwatchable.'

Guess this is why Baskin Robbins was a success with their 31 flavors. BTW, I love butter pecan. 03-cloud9

Watching college women's basketball is akin to watching 8th grade boys.

Watching women's basketball? Can't do it. Women's volleyball and soccer are great because the players are great athletes AND feminine at the same time. My female friends don't even like to watch women's basketball!

This idea that women play a more fundementally sound game then the men is bogus, they are just so limited athletically, it can seem that way sometimes...Oh, and the women's tournament is a joke! Talk about chalk, blowouts, and ZERO buzzerbeaters...Bottom line, give me a K-Ward dunk over a two handed set shot or an underhand, slow motion layup any day. DUNK DUNK DUNK! Go Eagles!

Why am I not surprised? Because you want EMU to lose.07-coffee3

I did some research once when looking at the role of women in combat. The average American 15 year old boy is both taller and heavier than the average adult woman.

luckily we use guns in combat now so that advantage is nullified. Modern war relies on intelligence and planning, which are skills that 15 year old boys do not excel at.

And we use balls in basketball games, so height, strength and bulk are nullified.
