Well, the two positives, I suppose is that our freshman-laden defense is performing reasonably well and we have a freshman QB who just had a 400-yard performance.

should I start looking to 2016 already?

ask UAB fans if we would rather be 0-3 vs having to wait until 2017 to have a team

To answer the original post.....while other schools' coeds are bundling up and putting on the freshman 15, the FAU fans should have the pleasure of still enjoying beach-ready women while the rest of us are shovelling snow.

ultimately, you guys won. you came back from the dead even though you had the full weight of the sinister powers that be in your state stacked against you.

you got your coach, you got your new stadium, and you now have your effective independence. it's highly unlikely they will ever move against you again. you're immune to their poison.

myself, I think you're actually better off than you were before they failed to kill you. but I'm also aware that virtually no one from uab agrees with me.

Popped the pimple. It had been coming to a head for a long time.

If you play like you did against Miami, you will probably beat MT. Your defense was good for a fair bit of the game (then it wasn't but just remember the good part).

Well, keep in mind, we did most of that with Driskell at QB, because Quez got knocked down. Our coaching staff, for some reason, seems to be enamored with Quez and it showed out there tonight.

Who knows what will happen. After today's game at Illinois I have no idea how our season will end up. We have great skill players but our scheme just went into total chaos.

So, another 3-9 season? Well, it does not look unreasonable.

Games FAU might be the favorite, 5 wins could be plausible also

Like I said, 3-9 is not unreasonable. Before the season started, I thought we'd already be 3-1 at this point. Expectations change.

However, the way our defense plays, we would be a handful for every team in the conference.

RE: What does an FAU fan have to look forward to the rest of the season
Yesterday, it just became even more painful. Four games out of 5 this season we held a two-score lead and we are only 1-4. We have now lost 10 games over the last three seasons within a TD. We are 1-10 in games decided by 4 points or less over the last 3 seasons. It is not Charlie Partridge, since the problem has become apparent the year before him. I think the problem is caused by Quez. He is not a good enough QB to overcome adversity when needed.

FAU has enough talent to stay on the field with everyone. No one has blown us out. Certainly, no one in the C-USA. But we are, most likely, staring at another 3-9 season.

3-9? I say 2-10 with Utep being the win

The problem is quez first and foremost. I've told people he sucks on here for year. Can't throw it a accurately over 8 yards and has the iq of a rock under center. I never get the hype from the uninformed on him being good. He flat out sucks

Brian wright needs to go. I've seen better playcalling all over high school football. Guy is a joke with his stupid delayed handoffs up the middle over and over

Partridge is at fault too. This team has as much talent as most in cusa. They are sift though and can't close out games. That is coaching. And his defense has given up late leads like no other

Doubt he gets fired but I'd welcome in. Hire a real coach and not a plan D type of coach

To answer the OP's question, a lot more losing. At least 4 maybe 5 for sure. Your team should have won against Tulsa and it would have started a different story for this team. It is hard to get guys to win that only know losing.

Go to games. Pull for your team. Have a good time.
