Vandals @ Huskies predictions
Adding up all games these teams have played including exhibitions, these teams are 5-0 right now. Idaho put up 139 in one of their exhibitions if I am reading that right, yikes. I think this is a close one and a very good opponent for NIU as it could be pretty evenly matched. I will go with NIU in a very close one

Vandals 61
Huskies 64

Idaho 60
NIU 65

I think they will be close or up for most of it, but we will pull away late.

RE: Vandals @ Huskies predictions
these prediction threads crack me up..........you should have to tell how many times you have seen the opponent (or even in some cases, NIU) when you post your "prediction." Having seen Idaho once, methinks Huskies "D" can shut down the sharpshooter, we will outrebound them, make free throws and win by 3: 69-66

This post cracked me up.....you should tell us what difference it makes how many times you've seen either team?
MaddDawgz02 predicted a three-point NIU win, nbcards forecast a one-point NIU win, and Michael James envisions a five-point NIU win -- you're saying NIU by three. What exactly is so funny and aside from one field goal less or more, your prediction is the same.

NIU wins 71-60. NIU is on a 6-game home winning streak. Idaho plays tonight. Conner Hill is Idaho's best player. He is a great shooter and can get to the basket. I believe NIU will dominate them down low in scoring and rebounding.

Then leave the thread to us and our terribly wrong predictions.

Threads like this should be titled, Idaho or NIU, which team do you root for?

Or ideas for a trophy game, not sure what it would be called the "The Little Silver Spud", but I think these schools have met on the gridiron enough to create a trophy game

I'm with cager on this one. If folks could make accurate predictions on games played by teams they actually knew something about, they would beat the books. But they can't.

So to try to predict the score of two obscure basketball teams that no one knows a bloody thing about falls somewhere in between comical, bizzarre, and sad.[/php]

Sorry, where is the designation as to which predictions are legit and which are not? It's a fan forum, everyone is entitled to make a guess. Where did everyone list the basis for their prediction. I'll ask again, what is the big difference between your prediction and the other three? Are you assuming none of those three have any knowledge about the Huskies? People made predictions prior to every football game this year, what made some more legitimate than others? Clicked on this thread, saw four predictions, the last of which was yours ridiculing the others and yet, all four picked NIU to win ..... have a strange feeling more than a few people have made or lost a lot of money regardless of how well or how little they knew about a given team.

And fun? You forgot fun. No one on here is an expert. I make Oscar picks without seeing a foreign film in 20 years. I purport to desire to sleep with Jennifer Lawrence even though I've never had a conversation with her and I cheer wildly when we land a thing on a comet when I don't know the name of the comet or the thing we landed on it. It's a chat board. It's fun. It's bragging rights if you are right. Funny when you are way off and a good time suck while we wait for meaningful games to start which we have absolutely no control over the outcomes. Get over the idea this is anything more than amusement.

It's absolutely mind blowing how miserable some people are. On the bright side it makes me appreciate that I've surrounded myself with people that aren't totally cynical and bitchy all the time.

And fun! Houston, dude, I gotta come to Texas and hang out with you, LOL! Nothing screams fun and excitement like making predictions about Idaho basketball. It's a party 04-rock
