And if Cincy wins their next two as well? My point is, are the Playoff committee members getting their ques from the coach's polls and the like for the G5? If so, they will be looking at the wrong co-champ of the AAC in my opinion. (Okay, "knock on wood")

Think that is something a 5-5 Arkansas team has gotten votes in both polls. 2 in the AP and 1 in coaches.

Big deal they beat an over rated Auburn team. They are still 5-5. I never follow the farce they call the chase.

That's Coaches poll. We got 1 in AP w/ none for UC.

Means nothing. CFP only one that counts, and they only show top 25. Just win the conference. That matters more.

So sorry grasshopper my mistake/
So true it was LSU an even more overrated team than auburn, who got manhandled by Georgia. The 7th place west team beat the 6th place west team. Even less impressive.

Arkansas is much better than their record shows and I think voters are recognizing that. They have lost a ton of close games.

Look at it this way...What is our record if we had played Arkansas schedule

As I said (or at least intimated) before, my worry is that THEY don't care about the G5 spot, and they will turn to the other polls to do their work for them.

Look at it this way...What is our record if we had played Arkansas schedule

The only game they have not been in late was Auburn.

A&M 35-28 in OT, Arkansas lead most of the game
BAMA 14-13
Georgia 45-32, probably the most noncompetitive they have been all year in the first half
Mississippi State 17-10

So two of the losses are by a combined 8 points to the #1 and #4 teams in the country. Two other losses are from the #9 and #16 teams in the country...

Doesn't matter, the fact is they didn't win them., At best they are the 9th best team in the SEC. So you are asking people to believe that they are better than the other 90-100 teams in the US. That is the mentality that allowed MSU to go from unranked to number 3 in just three weeks. Can you name one other conference where a 500 team with a 1-5 conference record would get a vote?

The question should be who have they beaten? Only thing close to a big win was LSU and they are very overrated. Other than that you have the likes of Nichols St, UAB, Texas Tech. And MAC member N Illinois.

They don't give a damn about the G5, nor should they.

Their #1 priority is to pick the 4 best teams for the playoff.

It's our job to schedule appropriately, win games and make them care.

A 9-3 football team with 2/3 of their losses coming at the hands of top 10 teams on the road...we'll be a Top 25 team if we win out. IMO.
