Volleyball team won five of its last seven to finish 8-8 in the MAC and make the tournament, which starts Friday.

They played the best three teams in the league -- OU, NIU and Miami -- very tough at home in the last month. Friday's match with Miami went five sets, three of them decided by two points.

I went to most of the games. Face-paced action and a nice atmosphere. The band sometimes was there and attendance was better than many women's basketball games last year. Cheerleading squad has a group of about 50 who sit as a group in the stands and adds a lot of energy. I hope they're there for women's basketball.

RE: Volleyball
I used to go but I just can't stand the screaming after every point. I know it sounds stupid but it drove me crazy.
