UCF was focused on Friday, which means this week it's time for them to just go through the motions and either lose or win last minute.

I'm more loling at the Cincinnati-UConn line with our recent history at the Rent...apparently Vegas doesn't do their research when it comes to the G5.

I kind of wish our game against USF was on the road. We've been great on the road this season. But here's hoping our guys don't show a letdown the last two weeks being heavily favored against two teams with losing records in the conference. We could get beaten either game-- we're good, but not good enough to just mail it in against conference foes.

You're right - Memphis' biggest challenge is complacency. You have a very good program, but can't afford to sleep on USF - or you will lose. Keeping Memphis focused will be job one for Fuentes and staff. Good luck!

Fuente has kept them motivated since the winning streak started. The man knows how to handle the job.
Here is a little piece of Milners article on Fuente during halftime to the team
Quote:“I wasn’t very happy with how we played offensively or how we competed," Fuente said. "I was obviously pleased with us defensively, but just overall as a team, we needed to play better football. And we certainly did that. They came out and played better. It wasn’t perfect, but we just have a high level of expectation for them. If I feel like we aren’t living up to that expectation, it’s my duty to let them know that. I kind of expressed that point. Then we made our adjustments, came back in and said let’s go get 'em and they certainly did.”

I don't think USF has the type of team yet that can beat a good team like Memphis has. We have some talent but it's young and not evenly distributed yet

I will be surprised if we keep it close.

UC won 34-17 the last time they played at UConn. That game was in December. Bearcats won at UConn in 2006 the week after they upset Rutgers, that game came down to the wire. UC lost in 2008 at UConn I blame 2008 mostly on the QB situation, injured QB versus a very good UConn defense. Heck the 2008 team that went to the Orange Bowl needed last minute or overtime scores against Akron, WVU, and Hawaii. They held on for dear life against Pitt and Rutgers that year too. UC lost in 2010 at UConn when UConn was far and away the better team.

UConn has never beat UC in Cincinnati since UConn moved up to the FBS level.

I don't like the Memphis line at all. I would switch our line with Cincy.

It's fine. USF has no QB play and are offensively challenged this season. Tulane's offense was more dangerous.

That 34-17 game was deceptively close in that it took a Travis Kelce pass back to Kay for us to tie the game in the 3rd quarter, then UConn fell apart in the 4th. I just don't like playing up there in general, UConn is notorious for playing out of their skulls at home regardless of what our numbers against them show. (Chazz Anderson...lol)

I really wish we were the underdog in every game. We seem to play better in that role.

I'm not sure how the way ECU's played recently that we would be 17 point favorites over anyone. Tulane isn't great but they did beat Houston at Houston recently.

Begging is not a good look on you, especially when you had a chance to do your own taking out. 03-lmfao

And they all look about right to me. But, UConn always uglies it up when we play them there, so I could easily see them covering.
