I don't think USF has the type of team yet that can beat a good team like Memphis has. We have some talent but it's young and not evenly distributed yet

I will be surprised if we keep it close.

I think it will actually be a close game the entire first half... and then the Tigers will make adjustments... our Defensive coordinator will stubbornling stick with his game plan even though it isn't working anymore which will allow a lot of points on the board. Then our offense will abandon everything that worked in the first half and call more advanced plays which will get crushed at the line of scrimmage.
By the third quarter Ill be about halfway through my Captain Morgan Black, screaming obscenities in a drunken tirade at the tv calling Breshnaan a washed up Raiders piece of @*#&#%@*@. Then Ill flip over to the TCU game and think about what could have been if the Big East had signed that damn contract and finally mumble **** Pitt before heading to bed.

Yeah... I see how the rest of your season is going, and I see that home loss to Houston, and say, "WTF???" Not taking away from UH, but Memphis is REAL good (despite a lack of UC fans admitting as much 03-nerner ).

These are the games ESPN had to pick from for their slots. I wonder if they just threw a dart.

Really a late season quirk in the schedule. The top 5 or so teams are playing the bottom 5, and the team in the middle is sitting out. No compelling games, on paper.

No way, Memphis is too good this year they're going to win it all I think. I'm glad to see Memphis back to its winning form there is a sleeping giant

It's "Top Meets Bottom Week" in the AAC with every point spread being double digits... There are some huge numbers out there and will be interesting to see if all the teams cover. If USF the "good Mike White" shows up and doesn't give up points on turnovers I am not sure if Memphis can cover. Of course, if the evil Mike White shows up, Memphis may win by 31 points...

It's fine. USF has no QB play and are offensively challenged this season. Tulane's offense was more dangerous.

Unless we can get the running game going....

RE: Vegas Line
Fuente's strategy the past few games is to play conservatively on offense and let the defense do its job. The problem with this is that everybody in the stadium knows what plays we are going to run. He won't open up this offense until he has to. Prime example was the Temple game when we had about 100 yards total offense at halftime and not much after that. When Temple tied the game in the 4th quarter and we had the last possession, we marched down the field in a 2 minute drill and kicked the winning field goal with no time left. I feel that sooner or later this might bite us in the behind and cost us the game. It's hard to argue with success and I hope I'm wrong, but it worries me.
