RE: WWGD
One thing I am pretty sure he wouldn't do, he wouldn't sit back and say or do nothing. I didn't get the impression that he was one bit afraid of junior & his bootlicking lackeys on that board. I honestly feel he would have expressed public support for the football team and the coaches, for all the fans to hear, & nothing would have come back on him from it, because he was a man of unbridled courage...That was my first and lasting impression of Gene Bartow and what he would do if his athletic department was being threatened or systematically pushed around, he would have fought the **** back! No matter what the cost to him...He would not have just fiddled while his kingdom was being burned, especially at someone else's hands!

Exactly.
We need to find our Gene.

I would not be surprised if the next "shoe to drop" was Brian Mackin resigning. Part of me believes he was duped in-order to dupe HCBC with conviction.
Killing an athletic program is suicide for an aspiring AD. Unless he is already assured of being gainfully employed post this process.

#OneOfAKind...I'm afraid there are no more...Definitely no one even close to comparison that I can think of here. Got someone in mind? No way that person would get past the front door with this totalitarian BOT/KGB running the show.

I'm listening for that "other shoe", too...Watts need to "bounce" as well.

Maybe he's got a nice gig lined up at Bryant Bank.

Coach Bartow had his president's support the majority of the time.
