Did you watch that game? it was terrible. NIU could have beat a combo of both teams best players tonight.

Cue the NIU naysayers who will say we were lucky we played them early in the year.... Search for anything to downplay a nice victory.

Meanwhile, there will be excuses for teams like Nebraska who got smoked by Wisconsin as they simply had a bad game.

Notre Dame has lost 3 of 4. They were hyped up.....which seems to happen every year.

Even when they weren't close to the top 4 some announcers were talking like TSISB would soon be up there with the top teams. Their expectations seem to almost always far outstrip how good that team is.
