Loyalty is overrated.

Loyal fans love their teams unconditionally and become enablers like family members who keep their loved one's on drugs.

Someone has to be the voice of reason that holds their teams accountable and constantly reminds them that they have to earn the love of their fans.

So if the mighty Fitbutt says so I guess then I should listen to you. It seems everyone here knows you Fit and you're the last person anyone would listen to as the voice of reason.

Loyal fans will always make excuses for their team and believe that their unconditional support is the best thing they can do for them. I get that.

The mean person who comes in and explains to you that everything you are doing is just helping them stay down is always going to be the bad guy.

I accept that.

I'm a UTEP alum. and I want to see them do well. I don't know if that qualifies me as a fan or not.

Haven't been a fan of their basketball program in years however.
