It would be nice if our AD and some Sun Belt ADs scheduled some out of conference basketball games and such. Might bring more Vandals to this forum.

I think once there is a critical mass you'll see some move over, but you really only need one forum for the meltdown err game thread.

Linehan will be a great QB in a few years but for now he's a freshman who makes horrible freshman mistakes. Chalich, our RS-Soph QB seems to be the more Tebow-esque who has the only win and doesn't throw as pretty of a ball, stares at his WR's and runs too much but he moves the chains and protects the ball. Unfortunately he pulled his groin last week and is doubtful to play. QB#3 is our star WR. QB #4 is redshirting and may be favored to win the starting job outright.

I love watching these games, no matter how ****** we're playing it's Vandal ball in a 1 score game so who knows who will want to lose this game more. Give me this over a #1 Miss St #5 Bama game any day!!!

Troy has a bye week to prepare for ULL at home in Larrys final game ever.

This was a microcosm of what has plagued Idaho this year.

We have looked great the past few weeks when Chalich was at QB because we run a balanced offense, and the running game moves the chains, eats the clock and keeps the d off the field. When we throw it everywhere Linehan makes mistakes, we give the ball back, go down by a score or two, the coaches panic and we throw the ball more, Linehan makes more mistakes, we give the ball back, go down by two or three scores, the coaches panic and we throw the ball more. We have our RB averaging 6.8 adds per rush and we're down by 1 TD against the #120 rushing defense and we abandon the running game?

Linehan is going to be a good QB, possibly better than 6th round pick Nate Enderle, but like Enderle in his freshman year he makes a beautiful throw (that dropped TD pass to Ungerer was a thing of beauty, even by NFL standards) followed by 3 int's into a combined 8 defenders. Toss in the horrible red zone play, a questionable chop block call bringing back Montgomery's 70 yard TD and that was the ball game.
