The times I saw Maddie play for WMU sitting in, he was unimpressive. Makes sense for a young QB coming in for garbage time who's a runner, not a passer. Proved better with NIU, although not Impressive. He'd be a good backup for Hare, for what that's worth. Obviously better to have than not.

But I think Carey could choose better times TO put Maddie in. It's almost like he's trying to confuse his fans as much as the opposing D.

Not to mention the dude that QB's that 1-11 team last year is having a pretty damn good year as a starter this year.
