I've seen a lot of talk about the need for an elite 2-guard in this class, and with UK likely out now what are the chances we find a way to get back in. His list does not seem that strong for a guy who is sure fire one and done

What makes you say UK is out? This guy is Cal's #1 target. Love that he still had time to hand Josh his a$$ on the Skal front.

I've seen a lot of criticism about Coach Pastner on here, but I still haven't seen any legitimate criticism about him "losing" Skal to Cal. It is telling, I guess, that you "love" that though.

I've seen a lot of criticism about Coach Pastner on here, but I still haven't seen any legitimate criticism about him "losing" Skal to Cal. It is telling, I guess, that you "love" that though.

Wonder why they keep jumping on CJP for losing out on Skal when there was really nothing anyone could have done except for walking up to GH with a box full of money. Skal was SOLD to UK and i am glad that we were not bidding.

Hell someone was yelling the other day in an article about CJP losing Stokes as if he could have created a scholarship out of mid air at the last minute.

Forget this permanently. Never gonna happen. This guy is Cal all day long.

However it played out, Losing out on Skal had to hurt. Josh had invested 4 or 5 years in landing that kid... devastating blow.

Don't sleep on UConn. He had expressed interest in playing with Diamond Stone at the next level, UConn the only school both have in common.

We hadn't been in contact with Skal for weeks leading up to his announcement. We either knew he wasn't coming here, or knew that he was too much trouble. Regardless of which, if Pastner didn't like the situation, I'm glad he didn't bring it to Memphis. On to the next one. Watch the game today at 1pm.

He's going to UK...OMG did any of you see him and Skal at the MCHF?....Skal is tops in the class and is the next KD..he hit jumpers from everywhere.Newman did the same had like 42pts one game...Look for UK to be #1 again next season...Alex will be back with Lee,Booker,Ulis...wow
