Technically, the VMI Citadel game doesn't count as a conference game. This is part of the All-Military Classic.

Not SoCon related, but Bryant is up on defending National Champion UConn at halftime 34-28.

Which makes it odd, but still we get our first look at interconference action, even if it doesn't count.

UT-C beat NKU 93-81.

Also of note, VCU beat Belmont 78-51.

WCU is up 3 on Vanderbilt at the half.

Vandy now up 19 and pulling away with 7:39 to play.

At Greensboro, it was actually a home game for UNC-CH. Place was full of sky blue. Wonder how the money was divided since the Chapel Hill crowd bought 90% of the tickets? Did big brother give little brother his usual "home" share? I know, trivia and who gives a crap.

UNC-G has actually been playing most all of their home games at the Greensboro Coliseum since the 2009-2010 season so would assume this was indeed a home game for UNC-G. Obviously the crowd was likely heavily Tar Heel though. They played at Chapel Hill last year and would not be surprised if they have to go back to Chapel Hill again next year. They appear to have had a similar deal with Duke where the Blue Devils played at the Coliseum during the 2010-2011 season and UNC-G played at Duke during the 2009-2010 and 2011-2012 seasons. Deals likely similar to the one that will bring UT to Freedom Hall in a couple of years.

Wofford 64 CSU 58

After winning at NC State a couple of nights ago Wofford struggled last night against Charleston Southern at home. Wofford was outrebounded and only made 4 of 20 three point shots.

Marginally related: NC State beat UT last night (UT was away). I think our play against UT could be, loosely, an indicator of competitiveness against Wofford in conference.

FGCU defeated Furman 83-78.

They got 2 transfer athletic bigs (Marc Eddy Norelia and Demetris Morant) and a transfer guard (Julian Dubose) all egible this year.

Furman did a heck of a job to hang with them.

Wow we don't even have one vote in CIT poll? EKU has 22 and we beat them.

We are a much better team this year, but nothing special without a signature win. We do have a signature loss to UNCG, though. :/
