Anyone with half a brain could see it. Hell Helen Keller saw it from a mile away. I actually think threads like these prove Gilbert right.

But here's the thing. We knew they were telling lies back then. We pointed it out repeatedly during the discussion. Oh, no, you don't know what you are talking about, you all told us. Now it's lies, and we knew it all along.

By the way, just to be clear, I'm not accusing you or other posters on here of lying yourselves. You were just passing along what your spin masters were telling you. It's not LYING unless you KNOW it to be false. We did, you didn't, because you so wanted to believe.

Give you a hint--This isn't the last lie about this thing to surface, not by a long shot.

What exactly did they lie about and which of those lies was a complete surprise to you?

What did they lie about? Pretty much everything, and have pretty much continued to do so.

Which lies surprised me? None of them. Consider the sources.

The whole mandate thing not being a tax. Heck the Supreme Court even called it a tax. That was a political ploy that some would characterize as a white lie and they would be right.

Boys. Give me one honest politicians! Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are the closest you can find and both of them would unelectable in any type of general campaign. My goodness man. Why in the heck are we surprised by this?

When Ron Paul was asked about legalizing heroin and he said of course. That's a gentleman who didn't compromise his beliefs. Denny Kucinuch would get his titty in a wringer every other week because he wouldn't compromise his beliefs either.

He isn't going to respond. He's in complete, 100% denial that anything like this can be remotely true.
