The race game is all the idiot Libs have left after the slaughter in the midterms. They have nothing left but race.

It's nothing but a buisness cycle. Obama has done nothing for the economy. The fact is that his timing was fortunate, he took over almost exactly as a bust was bottoming out, and he has ridden it all the way up. He has done nothing to impact the economy except to slow down the recovery.

There are actually Keynesians that will argue that is a good thing, we should slow down recoveries and stimulate during downturns. Will be interesting to see where things go from here.

Owl, haven't we been stimulating like hell since Obumble was inaugurated? That stimulation is why Wall Street has done so well lately, where else is that printed money going to go?

Funny how Obumble always claims to be for the middle class, but his policies are just what the Wall Street fat cats want while the middle class can't find good paying jobs.

To be honest, I saw Mach's post earlier today and I had zero idea what he was referring to. So now I know. How pathetic are you Mach? Seriously, you are beyond a sad case. What in the world tied my post to anything racist in this thread? You are a typical leftists lib, when confronted with facts you can't argue, you fall back to the racism attack. You are pitiful, but of course that isn't news here.

When it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck. Chances are it's a duck.

Hey, ERC. Where do you find the daily stimulating 5 articles a day on race relations in America that you and the Patriots fan so throughly enjoy? I thought of you immediately when I saw the Patriot Twitter feed. Hey that could be ERC. Is there a periodical you subscribe to? A Reddit for the KKK or do you basically just count on Fox News?

Here you go. This should be the only response needed about how great Obama's economy is. Enjoy.

Obama is the welfware president. Setting government dependance to a new level. He is very successful at that. He preys on the stupid like his associates mentioned.

I'm still waiting for someone who's' Pro-OBama economy based on this article to give President Bush his credit in his economy... cause I"ve already pointed out how by every argument this clown author makes would be double-success for Bush.

Ignoring for a minute the obvious errors in the comparison, Would you mind showing me some headlines on CBS or NBC or ABC that are 'doom and gloom'?

As far as a 180, MANY of the posters on this board (and the entire reason the TEA party was started support fiscal responsibility... and fiscally, Obama has been horrible. Can you possibly spin some numbers and percentages to make him NOT look like the worst President in history in that regard? Absolutely...

but why would you? What sort of person would? Reagan isn't an option in 2016 and what we were willing to put up with to accomplish his goals in 1980, we might not be willing to put up with in 2016.

More people than ever are needing assistance... and even Demcorats are upset about Obama's performance... and you choose to blame that on the media??

Silly

The media responds to what resonates with the consumers of their products. If I'm unemployed or under-employed or working harder to get less and the media trots out a 'positive' spin on the economy, It's not going to resonate. If I'm working and happy and see things getting better and the media trots out gloom and doom, It's also not going to resonate.

That's not how the media gets paid

It's pretty hard to argue with what people experience every day

To the rest of the righties:

Fo's message is the proper response that shows the appropriate level of snark and condescension. You could learn a ton from his posts and it's the reason he's a legend around here. Good one Fo.

RE: Obama Outperforms Reagan On Jobs, Growth And Investing.
It's not the Obama recovery, it's the normal cyclic progression of an economy following a bust that bottomed out, in all likelihood, of its own accord before Obama took office. If it crashes in 2015 or 2016, that won't necessarily be Obama either, just the next step in the cycle.

We are much more of a retail/service economy than we have been in the past. Among other things, that means that we are pretty much limited to bubbles to make economic growth appear strong. A strong economy would be one that restored the productive sector and generated real high-paying jobs. That isn't happening, and nothing Obama is doing or has threatened to do will impact that.

In order to make this claim, you must show 2 things that you can't/haven't.

1) you have to show that it was the stimulus and not the normal business cycle that 'worked'. It seems obvious that as the recovery is so weak, unprecedented even... that this is a hard argument to factually make

2) you have to measure the negative impact on the future economy of paying BACK all of those borrowed funds.
