Great road win to kick off the Jans era. Although Drake did suspend three guys, including their leading returning scorer, before the game. But still, an impressive debut for the Falcons. #TalonsUp

At the end of the season, nobody really remembers that some players were out for a specific game early on. This will look good for both BG and the MAC in the RPI.

The Valley is one of the conferences that we need to start dominating if we ever want to be a two bid league again. We'll never be a conference that can knock off P5 schools left and right, but winning our games against the MVC, Summit, etc. is the way for us to stand out among the mid majors. Way to go BG.

And Kent gets a road win at YSU, 69-61.
The MAC is now 5-1 against D-I competition, with the only loss coming against a top-25 team.

8-1 overall, 8-0 vs unranked teams. I'll take it.

great start for mac. toledo, miami, western w home games (toledo playing the toughest opponent of the 3 in big sky contender n arizona) while buffalo plays at #1 kentucky. best case scenario is 3-1 with the bulls showing some flashes and keeping it interesting at kentucky.
