There was a 30 second shot clock instead of a 35 second shot clock.

That helped CBU because they aren't as talented and didn't have to chase the Tigers around each possession.

The guards are new and are still working on post passing. That 5 second reduction kept the bigs from dishing and re-posting. That 5 extra seconds would have often helped re posting or the bigs looking to dish to the open man.

Unfortunately, the open man was the go to man, but he couldn't be gotten due to the shortened clock. That won't be an issue next week. It should actually help the rest of the year because guys will work the offense into place quicker now that they have experienced a quicker clock.

Plus, no KI and Hawkins.

Then how do the pros repost with a 24 second clock?

I think it comes down to low BB IQ.

Ummm, they are pros.

Furthermore, I posted two links that told of the Grizz struggles to do so. And they are pros.

Ummmmmmmmmm, I know, but 30 is 6 more than 24, so...... there's that.....

Still think it's low BB IQ.

Pretty sure the security guards shook his hand last night like friends doe. But you keep believing what you want. Hes never been asked to leave anywhere.

He's best friends with Bill Laurie's personal bodyguard from what I understand. The high rollers just slip the guys a few bills and all is forgotten.

The shorter shot clock helps the more talented teams not the less talented. Less talented teams need to work hard to get open shots. Rely more on fundamentals and less man on man. Lesser talented team are less likely to get a good shot in the shorter time period.

That only equates if said more talented team is playing intense defense!!! 01-lauramac2
