Renting is not an option but I did I hear that it's Sperry Top Sider Night. But they are hard to wear performing the Bronco Fleck Boogie
wearing them.

I may sit with NIU fans but I am not paying full price for some crappy corner seats.
The Visotor section is between the goal line and the 20. When buying tix through NIU just ask for tickets mid way up and then there has always been room to slide closer to mid field.

RE: WMU Game
Been to WMU probably 5 of 7 games going back to 2000. Hoping for the 10 am start since I have to be back by 5 pm for Thanksgiving with the in laws. Easy road trip, only 2-1/2 hour drive nonstop from the western suburbs. Recommend the University Roadhouse for a bite to eat pre or post game ... it's across the street / train tracks from the stadium. I always go there after games in Kalamazoo or for lunch on the way back from Detroit / MACC. Great food and drink specials.

I'm trying to get my wife to make the trip. I figure if she plans on going to the game she won't be out the night before spending all of my money.

RE: WMU Game
I'll be there either way - meeting friends from the Chicago burbs for this one - Thanksgiving morning in DC Suburbs at my sister's, drop daughter off in Southern PA, then on the road for the finale on the way to Chicago for Thanksgiving #2 Friday night - Hopefully, it will be with everything on the line!

Except for the 19,000 that will be in attendance.
Okay, nobody except for the 200 people and the 18,800 imaginary people EMU counts in the stands.
Very true. Going to an EMU game is like going to a 17th year class reunion. Nobody shows up... but they'll claim everyone's going to be there.

Easy solution -- just tell her to bet on the game -- she'll get your money back!

Given the weather you should be able to slide wherever you want to. BUT, if turns into a "winner takes the West" game and it's a day of surprisingly warmth to some degree -- that will be hard to do.
But regardless, you can still get tickets for some decent seats. You don't HAVE to sit in the NIU section.

For the GOOD seats -- which was the situation in question -- very possible.

$35+ for seats on the 50 on stubhub. Stubhub messed up my NU tickets so I have a 25% discount credit to use.
If I dont go that route then I will be looking to go really cheap and see if we can get 10 people to get the $16ea tickets then just move where ever we can.
I just don't want to pay $25 thru NIU for seats that are like section G on the West side of Huskie Stadium.

Anything between the 30 yard lines or first row outside of the 30 yard lines.

When there's a MACtion game on during the week and the stands are kind of empty -- where everyone's clustered. :)
Or where the hot girls sit, shivering, needing a friendly warm body. That could technically be anywhere in the stadium. :)

Do not get your tickets through Stubhub. Call the WMU ticket office instead or go to there website. You will get the tickets for a lot less and then pick them up at the Will Call.

Just checked ESPNU on the TV guide app. Looks like the ESPNU game will be at 10 am Central time, assuming we are picked for that game. There is college basketball on all afternoon / evening on ESPNU starting at 1 pm.
The time is ideal for me since I need to be back in the suburbs by 4 pm or so.
