RE: Minimum to save his job?
If he has a winning record, keeps his recruiting class and no one bolts he lasts until next year...

No extension though.

I've got news for you, those who want the coach fired include some folks who have the money for the buyout in between the cushions of their couch.

then the wheels should be already turning if that is the case.

I'm sure a few eyebrows have been raised but Pastner is here for this year and probably next year as well thanks to the Lawsons.

This is year 6 for JP. It's all on him. He'll either get it done or he won't. This is 100% his team and his staff. The early returns don't look promising but we'll pretty much know where we stand by Christmas. He could still turn things around.

Wasn't that the same argument from those wanting to hold onto Porter?
"We were already paying Tommy... we can't afford to buyout Larry, too. If you want to fire Larry, then send in a few thousand, otherwise put a sock in it."

Funny thing is... I send in a few thousand... per seat... just to have the right to buy the tickets to watch Josh lose to CBU. Its arguable as to whether people like me pay Josh's salary since it is our over the top donation level that allows the university to allocate Ambassador donations to go towards Josh's gaudy salary.

your donation goes to pay for the scholarships of our athletes.

and if those dollars weren't there, then the Ambassador money paid towards Josh's salary would then be allocated for necessities... like scholarships.

I'm not so sure that Pastner gets another year if this season is a disaster.

I'm not going crazy at all. In fact I think we have enough talent to win our first game of the season. But regardless I will keep showing up to every game. So, think what you want to. Cute wasn't last night.

I hope we don't have to find out.......

I'm rooting for a big turnaround starting with a respectable performance against Wichita State and then improving from there.

We have talent. These kids know how to play basketball. I think Pastner has probably confused the sh*t out of them.

Don't tell me that our guys would not ROLL CBU's guys in a pickup game on the playground. They would.

Put up or shut up. Opinions are noise until they are backed by action. Are you just a noise maker?
