Great people at App...but I am most certainly not an App fan.

Maybe not, but apparently you're a "SUN BELT NATIONALIST"?

A thing we started when MTSU left for CUSA. We're working to make our fans watch all Sun Belt games and not just our teams games.

I don't watch P5 games out of principle anyway, so it wasn't that hard.

Haha... It's good to have grounded expectations of your team, and I guess not watching P5 games will help with that.

Whats the point of watching? I don't give two licks who wins the National Title this year. I do care who wins each G5 conference, and do care who gets the access bowl, but why on earth would I want to watch Mississippi State and Alabama for instance?

I'm a football fan, I enjoy watching future NFL talent. I don't really care who wins, but I'll watch.

How many games can you watch at once with a internet connection? Doesn't it make it kind of hard to switch games without missing parts of it?

I mean it's not like hitting menu, search, FBS football, CUSA...then have all your games at a click of the remote :)

I'd choose ULL if it came down to it. Markets don't mean crap, proven by our tv contract. Grab a solid program overall in ULL.

Agreed. Although Tech won't like it.

Successfully without Lag? 4 games. If there is a 5th game available via CBS, NBC, or another streaking platform that I use, I can watch 1 more for 5 total without Lag. ESPN limits you to 4 games at once because of bandwidth. You cant search by conference, but you can search by channel, making the games easy to find. As for missing moments...that's up to you. ESPN will let you put all 4 games on the same screen if you so choose, but it does make the screen size a little smaller, even when you plug it into the television. However, you do have the ability to click on one game and make it take up more of the screen when a key moment approaches. Meaning commercials basically don't exist outside of the odd moment a few weeks ago that all 4 games I was watching went into halftime at the same time.

The only real difficulty is you have to mute the sound on three of the games, otherwise it can get really confusing.

It is getting darker. If your coach can't get a definitive from his bosses as to whether or not there will be a football program after 2016, to me that's a pretty good indicator of what is about to come down the pike.

It truly is a messy situation that does not paint a good light on UAB Athletics which I am sure that is perfectly fine with the BOT and Watts.

According to the article linked on the last page of the "Commissioner" thread, we don't have a long time to wait for the outcome to be announced. Supposedly soon after the end of FB season. Hoping for the best for UAB football.

I would hate to lose UAB. Ive enjoyed the games FAU has played against them, and whats happening to the program just isnt right. Whats next, will they try to shut down USA and Troy next? I know they are not part of the same system but damn.

If it happens I could see either USA to keep us in Alabama or GASO to put us in GA. stAte wouldnt be bad either as I admire thier program and they are the only other FBS program in AK so there isnt a lot of competition.

Maybe they'll announce that not only will your program survive but that you're getting your own stadium. Let's hope

Look west, east candidates will get no support from MT or WKU.

That's correct, nor would there be any support from schools in Texas. I can see a pool of ULL, TSU and USA. USA fits the west, close to USM. Pretty sure that ASU is happy in the SBC and does not want an invite. If UTEP can be convinced that NMSU would improve the conference MBB profile then maybe they would be considered but some Miner fans would have fits over that. UTEP plays that school in everything OOC anyway, may as well make it a conference affair, no?

You are correct If this happens no way we add another eastern school and especially not one that would drag basketball down..GASO.

I would hope to NEVER have to make another trip to Jonesboro Ark. While they are riding a good run in football right now...how much is at the expense of the rest of their programs. Especially basketball because they don't have the money to put into both.

USA fits CUSA perfect..football program is new but doing pretty good and while their basketball been down...they care about it. And most CUSA recruit Alabama fairly hard. Not only that Mobile-beaches vs Jonesboro - nothing almost like going through the Twilight Zone getting there.
