...like Semenov - half way to mid-court by the time his free throw hit the rim.

He also has a habit of hitting his head on the bottom of the rim. He might want to stop jumping so high.

Looks like JMU might have really lucked out with this guy. Everyone thought he was a '16 and suddenly he's a '15.

RE: MBB Recruiting
One thing I've noticed over the past few weeks is it seems Brady finally got the message about the talent in VA. He has a lot of offers out to some really good in-state talent that can definitely help us.

If he can pull this year's team together, he'll get an extension. If he brings in more VA players, this program will take a turn for the better. Getting Roland is a really good start.

As someone else pointed out I think this shows that the Dukes coaches are building relationships in Virginia- it's takes some time like anything else but they recognize that there is talent in the Commonwealth and the local part of JMU makes them attractive to recruits. This seemed to help with Roland. I think it's also a good sign when other recruiting sources seem to be paying off- same high school for Kent and McLean, same juco for Gray, Goins, Millen. The international recruiting is starting to show dividends as well and they have done well in Philly even if you consider where Cooke and Bessick landed.
