Now it looks like a combination of Iowa, ULM, and Miami-Ohio! I guess the attorney who was defending USM against Iowa's trademark lawsuit came up with this?

I think I like it better without the white outline. I tried to mock it up real quick on my iPad.

I'm not sure how I feel yet.. It's different.. I was hoping we'd go back to the old attack eagle and get away from the eagle head..

Could've gone with this, just change the color scheme a little. And, you could have an annual rivalry game. Screw the little brown jug or Paul Bunyan's axe or the brass spittoon. You have the game to keep the logo for the next year.
