I don't see lesser GSU on your list. They got throttled by Iowa State last night. Was hoping for a better showing. On paper, lesser GSU should be a good team this year.

I watched that. Iowa State is ranked #14, so hard to tell what that means for lesser gsu against ODU. When they did start making the game close for a bit, that had me really worried. They are definitely going to be good.

It is going to be a big game for sure. With our relatively weak schedule, there isn't much room for error and that is definitely one that could spoil us. It is one of those teams that are much better and more talented than their RPI is likely to show.

Would really love to take the Richmond game and the Lesser GSU game. I think those are our best chances at solid OOC performances.

We need to show good wins without bad losses. Probably need to either win the Paradise Jam or beat VCU. If we lose to Richmond or lesser GSU, we need to hope it isn't a "bad loss" at the end of the year. I don't think either would eliminate us on the surface, but it might be difficult for lesser GSU to finish in the top 100 with a Slum Belt schedule, even if they dominate. Any loss outside of the top 100 is considered a bad loss. This why the lesser GSU game is so important. We have a lot more to lose than we have to gain playing it and on Wednesday December 17 with school out of session, playing a team that the average fan will see on the schedule and have no idea the opponent is any good, I bet the Ted is going to sparse and quiet.

Also of note I found on the ODU Bleed Blue site was that all of ODU's opponents are 7-0 against other teams and 0-3 against ODU. I love reading those kinds of tidbits.
