Wow. Didn't look at the draft until this morning. Vandy had 2 first rounders and lost 14 games last year. Winning is hard?

Heck Washington had a lottery pick and a guy at 27 and made the NIT.

He was projected as a top 5 pick before the season. He had did a landslide last night due to a really poor freshman season...

Maybe. But this time last year he was #1 on the draft boards for the 2016 draft. And that included upper-, underclassmen and the internationals. He dropped. After a year at UK and Cal. No other way to spin it.

The bigger point is that coaches get way too much credit developing 1+ dones, and too much blame when they're not 1+ done.

What Cal has done a great job of, is not developing talent. He is great at evaluating the right talent for his style of ball, and then letting them make it or break it.

Cal has nothing to do with it either way. The fact that Skal played no high school ball his last 2 years is the reason he dropped. Anyone that saw him as a 10th grader at ECS knows this. Not being around Terry Tippet hurt him more than anything related to Cal. But go ahead with your ridiculous agenda. I'm sure it will earn you some rep points

2 ways to look at it...

Skal was #1 this time last year & fell after a year at UK with Cal.

Skal sucked at UK with Cal and was still a 1st round pick.

Best believe Cal will spin this.
