RE: 8/82: Lakers @ Grizzlies (11/11)
Kobe is a chucker and a rapist who was dragged kicking and screaming to 5 championships by an array of elite big men and role players.

Just home and agree. 2nd quarter we go up by 12 and it gets back to 2. 4th quarter we go up 17 (101-84) with 5 to play. Of course with a minute to go it's a 3 pt game (105-102) and LA has the ball. Thanks to Jordan Hill who, for some reason, took a quick 18 ft shot which missed. Kobe was visibly upset he didn't get the ball. A Z-Bo stickback gave us our final 107-102 victory. I'll say one thing about Kobe. He is one of a handful of NBA players that can make a entire arena buzz as he hits some incredible shots. We are seeing one of the all time greats who'll be gone soon. It was a good night.
But he has also missed more shots than anyone else in NBA history.
As far as faker fans. Would love to see a way of tracking who wears the opposing teams uniforms and if they are season ticket holder then move them to the bottom of the list when it comes to seating priority. Give the better seats to true fans
Below is the list for most career misses. I'd take any of them during any part of their career to play for the Grizzlies. Bryant holding that record does nothing to diminish his career. All it means is that he was a great player that played a long time. I dislike him immensely, but that doesn't mean he isn't a great player. When you say Kobe, any NBA fan knows who that is.
Kobe Bryant, 13,418 (and counting)
John Havlicek, 13,417
Elvin Hayes, 13,296
Karl Malone, 12,682
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 12,470
Michael Jordan
This topic is a little bit silly. Kobe has the most misses of any player now. He is also 6th on FG makes all-time. The guys ahead of him with the exception of Jordan are Kareem, Malone, Chamberlain, Erving and Shaq. Most of those guys would shoot a higher percentage since they are big men shooting close to the basket. Havilcek played in the days when there was no 3-pt line so there was no real incentive to shoot from outside. Dr. J's stats are great but they include ABA stats. He was more of an inside player than an outside shooter anyway. Jordan also didn't take a lot of threes. He is 157th all-time on the number of 3pt shots taken. It's really the large amount of 3's (low percentage shots) that have caused so many misses.
All time Kobe is
4th in points scored
3rd in FTM's
5th in FTA's
13th in 3pt FGM's
6th in 3pt FGA's
32nd in assists
16th in steals
7th in turnovers
I get people bagging on Kobe. I despise him too but he is certainly one of the all-time greats.
