I see more likely Temple in the Annapolis bowl and UC facing BYU in Miami

Eww to Birmingham. That stadium needs to be fully condemned not just the upper deck.

Might be nitpicking, but he eliminates UCF/Houston from playing BYU due to rematch, but suggests Cincy vs Miami (who also played this year)

RE: Current state of the AAC
Most likely, Temple and UC will flip - Temple to the Military Bowl and UC in Miami unless Miami doesn't go to the Military Bowl.

Let's hope SoS plays a part in the Access Bowl bid:

Boise State (7-2) - 65
ECU (6-2) - 77
UCF (5-3) - 86
Memphis (6-3) - 89
UC (5-3) - 95
Colorado State (9-1) - 113
Marshall - 125 (9-0)

BSU would be worthy, but NEVER CSU or Marshall!

I guess I'm the only one thrilled about Birmingham.

Jan 3 means I'm not missing time during the holidays.

B'ham is an easy 3hr drive from Memphis. (we can save $ by bussing the team)

Bowl is at noon, so folks can drive home after.

Meh part of town means cheap hotels.

Meh stadium means cheap tickets.

SEC may still fill that spot.

It's perfect.

Of course he is (Nitpicking)... Those two (Houston/UCF vs BYU) were very competitive entertaining watchable games... Not that it will happen, but I will pay for a Houston vs BYU rematch.

I also wouldn't mind Memphis/Temple/ECU vs BYU in the Miami bowl too.

Well great then I hope you guys go there. If ECU ends up there it's fine, because the only 2 bowls this year I'd actually attend are the access bowl (obviously unlikely now) or the Military Bowl. Every other bowl is either too expensive, falls on a bad day, or just isn't really worth the time.

I know that I just want to see ECU blow them out and shut everyone up who thinks they are better than the AAC

I want to try Dreamland and Saw's again...tour the UAB campus, and 16th street church...get a selfie with Vulcan.

Could be a fun Fri/Sat trip.

According to the B12, http://www.big12sports.com/ViewArticle.d...204777134, the B12 Bowl order is as follows. It does not seem like Memphis could get into the Liberty Bowl.

B12 2014 Order of Selection
College Football Playoff assume TCU & Baylor both in the CFP games.
Valero Alamo Bowl - K. State
Russell Athletic Bowl - WVU
AdvoCare Texas Bowl - Oklahoma
AutoZone Liberty Bowl OSU/TX winner
Cactus Bowl - No Team Available
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl (backup) - No Team Available
