Toledo beat U-M in Rich Rod's putrid first season. I'm sure that loss (along with many others that year) turned some U-M fans against him.

I assume that state-of-Ohio MAC alums (along with those of other smaller state-of-Ohio schools' alums) feel about OSU the way many of us feel about U-M, MSU, or both. Dayton was one win away from the Final Four last March, but beating OSU in that first-round game was like winning the Super Bowl to them. Anything else after that was a bonus.

I loved when Ohio knocked off U-M in the Big Dance a couple years ago. With all of the stupid Brady Hoke "Ohio" talk, it seemed like poetic justice. 03-nutkick

Very true. That was Rich Rods first year. Keep in mind that scUM had a losing record at 2-3 before going into that game. The unrest had begun going into that game and then escalated after it.
